Thousands of Volunteers to Participate in MillerCoors "Great Water Month"

MillerCoors is kicking off its largest annual volunteer event to protect beer's most important ingredient: water. The brewer has designated September as "Great Water Month,"whenthousands of MillerCoors employees will participate in projects across the nation to protect local water resources and promote water stewardship.The projects will take employees off-campus and into their local communities to repair riverbeds, clean up coastlines, and remove trash.

“Water is a vital resource not only to MillerCoors, but also to the communities in which we live and work,” said MillerCoors Chief Executive Officer Tom Long.  “Water stewardship is a top priority for MillerCoors, and each September we roll up our sleeves and work to make an impact alongside our communities and customers.”
