Window Pane Plugs - Charge while riding a bus
With the goal of making the placement of power points less restrictive, the designers of the Window Socket ended up with an ingenious final concept. Not only did they arrive at a solution that would separate the electrical outlet from its fixed location on a wall, but they dreamed up a device that's eco-friendly, that's portable, and that can even be used outside of the home.
This invention, by Boa Oh and Kyuho Song, combines a small face of solar
panels, a suction cup, a converter and a power plug. Stick the Window
Socket to transparent glass, facing the sun, and the gadget will charge
to full capacity over five to eight hours. This will provide you with 10
hours of usage, letting you juice up your cellphone or laptop while you
ride the bus or sit in the park.
